Nic, I have never had a better crew for window replacement. Gary and John replaced 26 windows in just 2 days !!! Cory and Pudge put vinyl on our worn out wooden facade. I can not describe in words how beautiful the results were. Many residents are asking who did this fantastic job. I will always direct them to Golden Construction. March 6, 2006 To Whom it May Concern, In the summer of 2003, I decided to apply new siding and add a new room addition to my home. I hired a contractor and he subsequently took my money without doing the job. The subcontractor who was hired by the Contractor stayed on the job and put the siding up and built a room additon. He too, eventually disappeared leaving my home unfinished and did a horrible job. I contacted the City Building Inspectors adn it was found out that the room addition did not have a final inspection. I called Nick Barnes of Golden Construction and explained the problem. Most contractors did not want to come because it is their policy not to finish another contractor's work. Nick and 2 of his men came out and looked at the work that needed to be done. The building inspector also came out and advised Nick what needed to be done to bring my home up to city code. Nick then gave me an estimate on how much it would cost to fix everything that was wrong. I know for a fact, that Nick only charged me enough to cover his costs and made no profit. Nick purchased the materials he would need and then pulled the permits and began to work on my home almost immediatly. Nick also had his men fix things that weren't even on the work order. He purchased quality materials and fixed my home with professionalism. I don't know what I would have done if Nick and his team didn't come to my rescue. We are still having some problems and Nick has graciously offered to help us once again. I would highly recommend Nick and his team to anyone looking to remodel their home. Lesley Ingman

"I have known Nick Barnes for sometime now not only as a friend but a long time dealer for the company that I work for. I have referred Golden Construction to many now satisified homeowners. After many years of referring Nick to others it was now my turn to remodel my home. Nick had Dale and his siding crew start first by tearing off my old caulking aluminum siding and replaces with beautiful new vinyl siding and blue shutters. The Crew came out when they said they would and when they were done they cleaned up. In all, the six man siding crew was at my home five days, exactly what they told me. We then had a new front door and a large maintenance free composite deck with vinyl railing installed on the front of our house. Gary and his crew also came out like they said and completed everything to plan. Gary is a real professional who has Nick says "is one of the best in the business" we have to agree!
